Summary Ability to sponsor (fund) a bug or feature request
Details There should be a means to allow funding / sponsoring of a bug or feature request. I.e. developers give an estimate of the costs to implement something and users can then donate money (e.g. via PayPal) to fund the actual implementation. A similar feature request exists for Bugzilla. See http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124096
